Job summary

South Country Equipment Ltd. in Emerald Park, SK is seeking a results-driven sales leader to build and coach a field team. You’ll drive equipment sales, set performance expectations, and stay close to customers on farm calls to grow market share for John Deere equipment.

With 3+ years in equipment sales and 1–3 years leading a team, you’ll identify opportunities, develop revenue, and coach the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences while hitting ambitious goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of equipment sales experience.
• 1–3 years of leading a sales team is an asset.
• Driven to develop business and identify revenue opportunities.
• Competitive mindset with goal orientation.
• Strong problem-solving and creative solution skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish adequate coverage for each geography with the right type/number of salespeople on your team.
• Understand current and past market conditions to set market share and used equipment sales targets.
• Set clear expectations on sales goals, pipeline, and customer experience with your team and coach to success.
• Coach your team to help customers find the right equipment to maximize land productivity and growth.
• Complete on-farm calls with the sales team to build customer relationships and sales skills.
• Stay informed on John Deere products, financing programs and technology to present them at the right time.
