The ideal candidate will possess an engineering degree or technologist diploma and a minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience. Applicants should demonstrate exceptional communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. This role requires travel 3-5 days per month and involves generating sales proposals and providing clients with product specifications.
You are a dedicated Sales Professional looking to work in a dynamic technical sales environment. As a skilled professional you possess a solid understanding of the consultant sales process and are willing to travel 3-5 days per month. Previous experience in capital equipment sales coupled with strong communication and excellent computer skills are a must. You will provide clients with automation related equipment specifications and pricing, acting in an assigned territory. You will generate Sales Proposals of all levels in a timely manner, in response to internal or external requests. Produce revisions to Sales Proposals as required for pending sales or in response to amendments necessary to complete a pending sale. Your previous experience in penetrating new markets is a direct result of your self start approach to selling and relationship building.
