The Role
As a Regional Property Manager you will oversee the operational and financial performance of a residential portfolio across Ontario. You will ensure that each property under management achieves occupancy revenue and quality standards while fostering an exceptional resident experience. This role requires strong leadership financial acumen and operational excellence within a dynamic fast-growing investment platform.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Oversight
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple properties ensuring consistent execution of leasing maintenance and resident service standards
- Conduct regular site visits to evaluate property conditions staffing and resident satisfaction
- Analyse financial performance identify variances and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure timely turnover of units and high-quality presentation of all properties
Team Leadership
- Supervise and support on-site staff including Resident Managers Leasing Associates and Maintenance personnel
- Provide training coaching and performance feedback to ensure accountability and growth
- Foster a collaborative results-driven culture
Resident Relations
- Champion a resident-first culture across all sites
- Resolve escalated resident issues with professionalism and fairness
- Monitor and improve resident satisfaction and retention metrics
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure adherence to Ontario housing regulations health and safety standards and company policies
- Maintain accurate operational records reports and documentation
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews
Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive experience in property or asset management ideally overseeing multi-site residential portfolios
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with property management and accounting software
- Thorough understanding of Ontarios Residential Tenancies Act
- Flexibility to travel across assigned regions
- Post-secondary education in Business Real Estate or related discipline preferred
