A leading retail recruitment firm is seeking a strategic leader to develop and mentor merchandising supervisors across British Columbia. The role involves optimizing staffing, implementing visual merchandising initiatives, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures. Lead, mentor, and develop merchandising supervisors across the regional territory.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and engagement.
Optimize staffing plans throughout the year, ensuring seasonal and promotional coverage.
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of merchandising team members.
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities to enhance performance and retention.
Visual Merchandising & Store Execution
Implement strategic visual merchandising initiatives that drive product visibility and sales.
Ensure consistent presentation standards including signage, displays, and promotional materials.
Collaborate with store and retail management to align merchandising with regional trends and consumer preferences.
Conduct regular store visits to assess execution, identify opportunities, and address challenges promptly.
Support hands‑on merchandising during peak or off‑season periods when required.
Operational & Administrative Management
Oversee scheduling, payroll approval, and expense management for assigned teams.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, sales trends, and execution standards.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
Communicate regularly with leadership to provide insights, updates, and recommendations.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior‑level merchandising or retail operations role.
Demonstrated success managing multi‑site or remote teams in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Strong communication and leadership skills with an emphasis on collaboration and accountability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with merchandising tools or scheduling software an asset.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify sales opportunities and adapt quickly to change.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow‑through.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout British Columbia.
