As the Regional Marketing Manager (RMM), you will be accountable for taking a highly collaborative approach to working with the Regional Managing Partner (RMP) for NB and PEI and other leaders within the region to understand their business objectives and translate these into targeted marketing and business development strategies.

With oversight by the Senior Marketing Manager, Atlantic Canada, the RMM will:

  • Collaborate with our leaders to plan and deliver marketing and business development initiatives that drive brand awareness, positioning, and create sales opportunities for our practitioners.
  • Establish consistent communication, and build and maintain interpersonal relationships with our internal stakeholders to ensure the success of marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Coach and support our practitioners in their business development efforts in their local markets in NB and PEI.
  • Lead projects of all types and all sizes (advertising, sponsorships, events, etc.), from concept development and logistics planning to execution and follow-up, with an action-oriented approach.
  • Work with and adhere to firm processes and best practices, including the use of consistent marketing and budget templates.
  • Develop creative and strategic campaign briefs and lead concept development phases with stakeholders and our national internal creative and digital agency.
  • Measure, understand, and report on the impact of marketing activities using the firm’s methodology, and analyze the reporting information to make recommendations or adjustments to plans and programs where required.
  • Negotiate, fully leverage, and manage strategic sponsorships of all sizes.
  • Maintain brand and positioning with MNP properties and utilize marketing materials and collateral including promotional items, brochures and tradeshow equipment.
  • Understand vendor arrangements and structures, and develop and maintain those relationships.
  • Build strategic alliances and foster marketing relationships with key stakeholders in the external marketplace.
  • Build profile and relationships in the regional marketplace, including with local influencers, media, and community (e.g. through attendance at local events).
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes while effectively using MNP internal programs and systems.
  • Conduct regional marketing intelligence activities such as understanding the competitive environment, MNP market share, and brand positioning.
  • Maintain awareness of changes in the regional marketplace, study economic indicators in the region, and identify current and future market trends.
  • Hold self and other team members to the highest quality and delivery standards in all aspects of the role.
  • Travel throughout Atlantic Canada for office visits and events.


Skills and Experience
  • Bilingual in French and English, both written and verbal
  • Preferred completion of a post-secondary degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a marketing capacity and a demonstrated understanding of the entire marketing process would be considered an asset
  • Experience working in a B2B professional services environment or marketing agency environment considered an asset
  • Understanding and experience working in the local marketplace is an asset
  • Understanding of how to build and reinforce effective working relationships within and across teams and with key stakeholders
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills
  • Possess business development support skills and knowledge
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
