Qualifications

• 5+ years in a senior emergency management role, proficiency in the Incident Command System (minimum IC 300).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with municipal staff and representatives for large-scale emergencies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and authorities.
• Manage the development and evaluation of emergency management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal emergency management requirements.
• Lead training and exercises to prepare response teams.
• Prepare for immediate response to emergencies with 24/7 availability.
• Conduct post-incident debriefs and reporting.
• Oversee financial management and response documentation.
• Regularly update response plans and related documentation.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement in emergency management.
