Job description
Regional Director, Revenue Services [Canada]

Manage the Revenue and Commercial Services teams across the region.

Your day to day

  • Manage the Revenue and Commercial Services model for Franchise hotels under agreement within the region.
  • Deliver on key performance metrics (RevPAR, RGI, Win Rate) for Revenue Service Hotels within the Canada Portfolio.
  • Work collaboratively with Business partners and owners in Canada to achieve target goals for hotel revenue and RGI
  • Ensure successful ramp-up of designated new hotels through pre-opening revenue management support and transition to Revenue Services. Provide necessary support to ensure New Hotel Openings under Revenue Services achieve Brand RGI targets.
  • Engage in renovating hotels within the region and ensure a successful post-renovation ramp-up.
  • Manage revenue stream from Revenue Services agreements and balance expenses within the portfolio
  • Be an active advocate for Revenue Services in Canada and support the growth of agreements signed with services in Canada.
  • Ensure necessary staffing levels are maintained in line with Services demand and appropriately grow the Revenue Services team within the region.
  • Lead with strong regional advocacy, project management and alignment with Global RM
  • facilitate upskilling of the Revenue Services team to increase system competency & advocacy
  • Implement best practices and routines for optimum use, Re-engage hotels with education, promotion and advocacy
  • Provide ongoing training and development of the Revenue Services team in Canada.
  • Aid in developing and executing regional programs to support portfolio performance across Canada.
  • Partner with global revenue management and distribution to ensure hotel needs and revenue-generating improvements are incorporated into system enhancements and revenue management services effectiveness.

What we need from you

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Management, Business, Hospitality or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience preferred.
  • 8+ years progressive experience in hotel management, revenue management, Commercial Strategy or consulting. 3 years of experience in managing a Revenue management portfolio of key properties. Experience with managing large teams is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of hotel pricing concepts, yield management, price optimization and selling strategies required.
  • Knowledge of Revenue management systems, key parameters and processes.
  • Ability to communicate (both written and oral form) technical and strategic information to groups and individuals at all levels of management in a clear and concise manner
  • Understanding of instructional design principles and practices
  • Ability to formulate and execute strategies to drive performance
  • Excellent analytical skills, project planning skills, presentation and training skills required
  • Good understanding of other integrated systems, such as PMS, GDS, CRO tools, Offline Reporting, Internet, etc.
  • Management – supervisory experience preferred.

Travel– 20-25% for portfolio/Hotel reviews and key meetings

Location– Remote: Candidate must reside in Canada

The salary range for this role is $82,110.00 to $107,000.00. This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable).We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and other benefits to employees.
