Armour is seeking a dependable Class 1 Truck Driver for day shift regional pick-up and delivery operations in Bathurst, NB. You will work independently, prioritise safety, and provide excellent customer service while representing the company on the road.

The role requires a valid Class 1 license, a clean driving record, at least two years of tractor-trailer experience, and strong knowledge of local routes. Training is provided, with competitive wages and safety bonuses included.

Qualifications

Valid Class 1 License and a clean driver’s abstract.
Minimum 2 years safe driving with a tractor-trailer.
Strong knowledge of local and regional routes.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Experience with freight handling and scanning equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled pick-ups and deliveries across multiple regional stops during day shift hours.
Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Load and unload freight with care and accuracy.
Complete documentation and scanning using handheld devices.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of your assigned vehicle.
