Job summary

Ritchie Bros. in British Columbia seeks a Part-Time Refurbishing Coordinator to support yard operations and sales prep.

You will coordinate refurb activities across multiple vendors, arrange painting, seats and glass work, and help photograph finished items for auctions. The role is based in the yard office and requires 2+ years of mechanical or service experience, strong time-management, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical or service background
• Strong time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all auction and non-auction refurb activities
• Coordinate with up to 10 mechanics (vendors)
• Manage and schedule paint, seat, and glass vendors
• Communicate with Territory Managers, Customers/Consigners; suggest refurb needs
• Work with Equipment Manager to coordinate picturing of finished items
• Inspect equipment when needed to support work orders
• Manage work orders and completion of all items in a sale
• Handle all Strategic Account work orders for sale and private treaty
• Track invoices and review cost sheets for accuracy
• Attend to mechanical issues after the sale in a timely manner
• Support RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety and participate in safety initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned
