Role Description

This is a full‑time role for a Refrigeration Technician located in the Halifax, Nova Scotia area. The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting HVAC systems, and addressing repair needs. The role involves diagnosing issues, ensuring proper functionality of systems, and collaborating with the team to meet service standards.

Qualifications

• 4th Year Apprentice or Red Seal Refrigeration Technician
• Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems
• Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and address technical problems efficiently
• Knowledge of Electricity and electrical systems relevant to HVAC applications
• Expertise in HVAC systems and a deep understanding of their components and operation
• Relevant HVAC certifications or licenses (Red Seal or Fourth Year)
• Excellent problem‑solving and time‑management skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic on‑site environment
