Job summary

GTA Concepts is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice (313A) in Beamsville, Ontario. The role is for registered 3rd or 4th year 313A apprentices or fully licensed 313A mechanics to join a non-union service team serving the Niagara Region, focusing on commercial refrigeration design, installation, service and maintenance.

You will work with experienced technicians on commercial/industrial HVAC-R projects, with limited residential work.

Qualifications

• Registration as a 3rd or 4th year 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic apprentice, or a valid 313A licence.
• At least two years of hands-on HVAC experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills.
• Ontario G driver's licence and clean driving record.
• Working at Heights certification.
• A safety-conscious approach and ability to work well with others.
• The ability to work independently within training and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems according to experience.
• Complete preventative maintenance and system inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and technical specs.
• Provide professional, courteous service at customer sites.
• Complete work orders and service documentation accurately.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and safe.

Pay: $25–$35/hour for apprentices | $40–$45/hour for licensed 313A mechanics
Hours: 35–45 hours per week, typically daytime shifts

You’ll work alongside experienced technicians on commercial and industrial HVAC-R projects, with limited residential work. This is an opportunity to strengthen your troubleshooting skills, gain varied hands‑on HVAC experience and contribute to a team that takes pride in its workmanship.
