The Opportunity

The emphasis of this job is to manufacture and weld quality auger parts, safely and efficiently, as required. Must have MIG welding experience.

The Team

Our large production team consists of welders, general laborers, machine operators, painters, and more. As a welder you will collaborate with your Production Supervisor and peers to produce quality augers for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricating and testing custom machinery and tooling to improve production or to facilitate new product releases
  • Assembling, installing, and testing machines to make sure they are working correctly
  • Assist with the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime
  • Supporting our maintenance department in identifying and repairing problematic parts of a machine by running tests, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts
  • Using machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts
  • Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations
  • Follow AGI’s Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
  • Red Seal Millwright certification or; 10+ years of equivalent experience required.
  • Ability to be a team player due to constant interactions with similar employees and stakeholders such as engineers, managers, and part vendors, amongst others
  • Working knowledge of mechanical technical skills to allow them to effectively read documents such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, while being part of a team
  • Able to lift to 50lbs
