Overview

Are you a Millwright who thrives on solving problems, working with precision, and keeping production lines running at their best? Adecco is hiring a full-time, permanent Red Seal Millwright to join our client's team in Richmond, BC. This is your chance to work with cutting-edge equipment, be part of major projects, and play a key role in keeping operations safe and efficient.

  • Pay Rate: $48.69 / hour (plus benefits and night premium)
  • Location: Richmond, BC
  • Shift details: Day shift 6:00 am – 2:30 pm; Afternoon shift 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm; Night shift 11:00 pm – 6:00 am
Responsibilities
  • Modify, repair, and replace machinery parts to maintain production capacity
  • Inspect, lubricate, and perform preventative maintenance
  • Handle changeovers, setups, and equipment adjustments
  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and parts requirements
  • Participate in major installations, start-ups, and improvement projects
  • Take part in safety meetings and contribute to action plans
  • Supervise outside contractors when needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace while following safety procedures
  • Be flexible to respond to off-hours maintenance needs
Qualifications
  • Inter-Provincial Red Seal Millwright (preferred)
  • 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing facility (corrugated, printing, or packaging an asset)
  • Welding experience (an asset)
  • Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, and safety mindset
  • Own tools and ability to work professionally under pressure
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
