Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a dedicated Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal to be eligible for this post.
• Candidates must have 5+ years’ experience servicing construction equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and complete advanced mechanical repairs, including engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical repairs to equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate parts inventory in vehicle or shop locations.
• Communicate with other technicians, store associates, and customers to understand mechanical problems.
• Perform testing of equipment to verify issues have been resolved.
• Inspect equipment for proper security, ensuring locks are in place.
