To ensure the timely and accurate preparation of meals that align with both general dietary requirements and individual needs. The Cook is responsible for baking and assisting with all aspects of food preparation throughout the facility. This position also serves as a backup for the Head Chef when needed and follows all safety, hygiene, and food preparation regulations as set by dietary services and dietitians.
Mixers, slicers, vegetable peelers, knives, dishwashers, microwave ovens, stove ovens, steamers, food processors, blenders, and related kitchen equipment.
Interacts with residents, family members, staff, and visitors. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stir, walk, lift, and lift up to 50 lbs.
