Job summary

TGC Motors is expanding to 8425 Wilkes Ave, Headingley, MB, and seeks a Licensed Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our team in a brand-new, modern workshop. You will diagnose, repair, and service a variety of vehicles, including safety inspections, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Red Seal / Journeyperson Certification for automotive service.
• Manitoba Safety Inspector Certificate preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with OBD diagnostic tools and scanning equipment.
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & repairs on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
• Conduct Manitoba Vehicle Safety Inspections per provincial standards.
• Perform brake, engine, suspension, A/C, and transmission maintenance.
• Ensure repairs meet safety standards and communicate findings clearly.
• Collaborate with service advisors and shop personnel to maintain workflow.

We are a full-service automotive sales and service facility providing reliable vehicle repairs, Manitoba Safety Inspections, diagnostic services, and general maintenance. We are seeking a skilled, reliable Licensed Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Repairs: Perform comprehensive diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and routine maintenance on a variety of domestic, Asian, and European makes/models.
• Safety Inspections: Conduct Manitoba Vehicle Safety Inspections in accordance with provincial standards.
• Maintenance Services: Perform brake repairs, engine diagnostics, suspension work, air conditioning servicing, and transmission maintenance.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs meet industry safety and performance standards while completing work efficiently.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate diagnostic findings clearly to service advisors and work alongside shop personnel to maintain workflow.

• Experience: Proficiency with OBD diagnostic tools, scanning equipment, and general mechanical repair across diverse vehicle lines.
• Driver's License: Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
