Job summary

Crown Auto Group is seeking a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles in a supportive, safety‑focused shop environment.

You will work independently and also mentor apprentices, while engaging in manufacturer and industry training to stay at the leading edge of automotive technology.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record is required.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic repair experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with high workmanship.
• Conduct inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Communicate repair needs clearly with Service Advisors and document repair actions.
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians and participate in ongoing training.

As a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician, you'll use your technical expertise to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles while delivering exceptional workmanship and outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Conduct inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Communicate repair needs and recommendations clearly with Service Advisors
• Complete detailed repair stories, including complaint, cause, and correction
• Verify parts for accuracy prior to installation
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship, efficiency, and productivity
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer and industry training

Qualifications

• Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong experience in mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic repairs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
