Job summary

A global gold mining company is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage equipment and service sourcing for the Great Bear Project in Red Lake, Ontario. The role requires executing procurement processes, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in supply chain, business, or finance, with at least 5 years of purchasing experience in mining or oil & gas. This is a 5X2 rotation position. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience in a mining or oil & gas environment is preferred.
• Formal training, a professional designation or certification in related areas considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes including RFIs/RFPs and evaluation reviews.
• Negotiate with vendors to obtain optimal lead time and cost.
• Administer procure-to-pay process for goods and services.
• Generate procurement status reports to support commitments.
