The Opportunity

As part of our Ontario growth strategy, we are expanding our Industrial Practice with a dedicated focus on the construction sector. We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to lead construction-focused recruitment and build a dedicated construction desk targeting mid-to-large contractors in:

  • Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional (ICI)
  • Infrastructure and Heavy Civil
  • Industrial construction and large specialty trade contractors

You will drive profitable growth by partnering with construction firms to recruit professional, project leadership, and senior management roles. Consultants operate with autonomy, supported by a strong brand, tools, and resources, with success directly translating into business growth and financial rewards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and grow a construction-focused recruitment practice in Ontario
  • Develop trusted relationships with mid-sized, large, and national construction contractors
  • Originate and manage search mandates, focusing on retained and exclusive searches
  • Recruit and place leadership and professional roles, including:
    • C-Level, Executive, and General Management
    • Project Managers & Senior Project Managers
    • Superintendents & Construction Managers
    • Estimators & Pre-Construction Leaders
    • Safety, Operations, and Regional Leadership roles
  • Strategically prospect new clients and leverage market intelligence
  • Manage full-cycle executive search and recruitment engagements
Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Background:

  • 5–10+ years in construction or construction-focused recruitment
  • Exposure to mid-sized to large construction organizations (ICI, infrastructure, industrial, civil)
  • Manager, Director, or senior commercial-level experience
  • Proven sales, business development, or revenue ownership track record
  • Engineering, technical, or construction management background preferred

Compensation & Earnings Potential
  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
  • Year 1: $150,000–$175,000
  • Year 2: $160,000–$210,000+
