Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking a Recruitment Consultant for a six‑month contract with two openings, working on a flexible hybrid schedule with Toronto initially and Mississauga later. This role focuses on attracting, recruiting and onboarding a diverse talent pool that supports Fidelity’s business goals.

You will lead sourcing, screening and interviewing, partner with hiring managers to define recruitment strategies, recruit across Fidelity group of companies in Canada, and coordinate with Talent

• 3–5 years’ experience as a recruiter in a corporate environment.
• University degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in recruiting across multiple roles and levels.

• Assess talent by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers to define recruitment strategies and objectives.

• Contribute to projects advancing the talent acquisition function.

You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement. The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway. Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings. Please note that this is a 6-month contract/secondment opportunity, with 2 openings available.

The Recruitment Consultant role at Fidelity Canada is integral to attracting, recruiting, and onboarding a diverse talent pool that contributes to our business success.

The Recruitment Consultant will lead the internal and external recruiting process by providing efficient and creative recruiting solutions that result in the onboarding of dedicated Fidelity team members. • Create and implement a targeted sourcing plan to proactively source strong candidates through a variety of search resources (social media, internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, events, etc.)
• Assess talent by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers to define and implement appropriate recruitment and selection strategies that support the achievement of business goals.
• Recruit talent across all Fidelity group of companies within Canada and at all levels.
• Partner closely with Talent Acquisition coordinators who lead the administration and coordination tasks related to recruitment.
• Contribute to important projects and initiatives to advance the talent acquisition function.

What We’re Looking For

3-5 years’ experience as a recruiter preferably within a corporate environment. Prior recruitment experience is required. Completion of university degree or equivalent work experience.

• Experience in the financial services industry
• Bilingualism in French/English
• Completion of or working towards the CHRP designation

This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring.

• The hourly rate ranges from $47.00 to $56.00, based on experience and qualifications.
