Duties
- Promote census employment opportunities within the designated work area by posting promotional material, if applicable.
- Communicate with candidates by phone to assess their job applications.
- Perform data entry and maintain recruitment files.
- Coordinate with colleagues to organize schedules and conduct candidate interviews, if applicable.
- Create pools of qualified candidates and address recruitment challenges.
- Respond to written and telephone inquiries regarding recruitment activities.
- Conduct second‑language testing for Statistics Act staff, if applicable.

Intent of the Process
This staffing process will be used to staff various CR‑04 positions, or equivalents, with differing requirements for employment duration, language, security clearance, conditions of employment, and work locations.

Essential Qualifications – Education
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience. For degree equivalency information, refer to the applicable guidance.
Essential Qualifications – Experience
Experience providing general administrative support services in a physical or virtual office environment.
Experience performing computer functions (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets, slide‑show presentations).
Asset Qualifications
Experience providing service to clients by telephone, in person, or in writing.
Experience working in recruitment, including outreach, promotion, or candidate assessment.
Experience working on a previous census of population.
Language Requirements
English – Essential.
Bilingual imperative – BBB/BBB.
