Reena is hiring for Part-Time Recreational Support Workers to support individuals with developmental disabilities through social and recreational activities as part of the Fall 2026 Community Outreach Programs in Thornhill. This role is ideal for college and university students seeking part-time employment, with a contract from October 18, 2026 to December 13, 2026.

Pay is CA$18.50 per hour, with opportunities for growth.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years and older.
• Possession of a valid G license is an asset
• Comfortable with driving Reena's van for transportation purposes is an asset

Reena is a non-profit organization that promotes dignity, individuality, independence, personal growth and community inclusion for people with diverse abilities within a framework of Jewish culture and values.

Reena was established in 1973 by parents of children with developmental disabilities as a practical alternative to institutions. In 1977, Reena began receiving funding from the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services and since that time has grown to provide support for hundreds of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Reena offers a variety of services including: employment, residential support, respite programs, counselling, therapy and advocacy.
