Job summary

Reena in Thornhill is seeking Recreational Support Workers for winter break to support individuals with developmental disabilities through its Community Outreach programs. Shifts run 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM during a seven-day block, with emphasis on engaging recreational activities and building social and life skills.

The role values teamwork, adaptability, and clear communication. A valid G license is preferred but not required; we may use Reena's van for transportation when needed.

Description

Reena is actively looking for Contract, Part-Time Recreational Support Workers (RSWs) to work within its Community Outreach programs. As an RSW, you would provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Work Schedule

Shifts: 7 working days: December 21, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31 (closed for Stat holidays)

Shift timings: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement recreational activities for individuals with developmental disabilities
• Reinforce social and life skills
• Participate in mandatory meetings and training

Qualifications

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years and older.
• Possession of a valid G license preferred, but not mandatory.
• Comfortable with driving Reena's van for transportation purposes (if applicable)
