CocuSocial, Inc. (YC S17) is expanding into Canada and seeks Chef Instructors to lead hands-on cooking classes in Vancouver at partner venues. This is a part-time, contract opportunity for chefs who love teaching and connecting with people.

Ideal candidates have a professional culinary or hospitality background, strong communication, and enjoy creating an energetic, welcoming class experience. Evening and weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging, hands-on cooking classes from start to finish.
  • Purchase and organize ingredients.
  • Teach cooking techniques in a clear, approachable, and entertaining way.
  • Create a fun, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere where guests feel comfortable cooking, learning, and socializing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs - carrying supplies, equipment, etc.

Job Description

CocuSocial, one of the largest culinary experience providers in the U.S., is expanding into Canada and looking for talented, outgoing Chef Instructors to lead fun, social, hands-on cooking classes in Vancouver. Our experiences are hosted at beautiful partner venues including hotels, cafés, breweries, restaurants, and event spaces. We’re looking for chefs who love connecting with people just as much as they love cooking. This is a great opportunity for chefs, caterers, culinary instructors, private chefs, hospitality professionals, and food entrepreneurs looking for flexible, supplemental income while sharing their passion with others.

Qualifications
