Job summary

A leading health care organization in Canada is seeking a committed Recreation Therapist to join its interdisciplinary care team. Qualifications

  • Completion of a Baccalaureate Degree in Recreation Therapy from an accredited university.
  • Three years recent recreation therapy experience working with mental health population.
  • Eligible for membership in the BC Therapeutic Recreation Association.

Responsibilities

  • Assess client level of functioning and develop rehabilitation plans.
  • Provide therapeutic recreation interventions and leisure experiences.
  • Assist clients to acquire and enhance leisure skills to improve quality of life.
