Job summary

A local government service provider in Newmarket is seeking a dedicated Recreation Program Coordinator to manage staff scheduling, implement training, and collaborate with various user groups. Qualifications

• Progressive experience in recreation programming and/or administrative duties is an asset.
• Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification required.
• Current High Five certification required.
• Crisis Prevention and Intervention certification required.
• Class “G” Driver’s License in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff scheduling and create weekly schedules.
• Support implementation of camp staff trainings.
• Print required paperwork for camp sessions and manage inventory.
• Collaborate with user groups to deliver quality programming.
• Handle inquiries and escalated concerns from parents.
