Town of Saugeen Shores is seeking a Manager, Recreation to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Town’s recreation services, including wellness, community programming, aquatics, facilities, and events. You will establish service standards, oversee budgets, and build partnerships to strengthen community participation and facility use.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive experience in recreation or related municipal environment.
• Experience leading supervisors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of budgets, policy development, project management, and contracts.
• Knowledge of ESA, OHSA, AODA, building code and safety regulations.
• Valid Class G Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for recreation services and partnerships.
• Develop divisional plans, monitor progress, and prepare reports.
• Oversee operations, staff development, and continuous improvement.
• Lead recreation programs, events, and facility use planning.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and contracts.
