Job summary

Simard Suspensions Inc. in Baie-Saint-Paul is looking for an Inventory Management Specialist to analyze and manage inventory processes. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate receipt of goods, monitoring inventory levels, and responding to internal requests.

Job description

• Analyze internal supply needs based on forecasts and historical data
• Receive carriers and unload trucks in accordance with established procedures
• Verify the accuracy of received goods by comparing them with delivery slips and purchase orders
• Identify and report any discrepancies, including missing, damaged, or incorrect items
• Perform system receipt of goods in the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy
• Ensure proper labeling of products and their organized storage to guarantee accessibility
• Monitor inventory levels, initiate required replenishments, and process merchandise returns
• Respond to internal requests regarding availability and lead times, and document irregularities (transport disputes, invoices, proof of receipt)

Conditions

Work location:

Monday to Thursday 5:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. OR Monday to Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

• AEC (Attestation of College Studies) in inventory management or relevant experience in a similar field
• Ability to use an ERP system and IT tools (Office 365) with precision and attention to detail
• Forklift operator certification and WHMIS (an asset)
• Mechanical knowledge (an asset)
• Organization and attention to detail: Ability to structure work, maintain an orderly warehouse environment, and ensure accuracy of information (receiving, inventory, documentation)
