Position

Receptionist/Accounting Assistant | Pay: From CA$45,000.00 per year | Job Type: Full-time

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • We are seeking to fill a full-time Receptionist and Accounting Assistant. As the initial contact for the public, primary responsibilities include:
  • answering the multi-line switchboard,
  • directing calls to the appropriate individuals as requested,
  • receiving and sorting all incoming mail,
  • welcoming all incoming guests and clients and directing them to the appropriate contacts,
  • handling incoming and outgoing FedEx scheduled deliveries,
  • postal and FedEx supply ordering, and
  • general office administrative work.
  • This position also supports Accounts Receivable/Payables administration for the Western Tent & Awning Group, handling invoicing and receiving payments.
Qualifications & Skills Required
  • 2+ years of reception experience, with Accounts Receivable/Payable experience an asset
  • High school diploma or equivalent, administrative education an asset
  • Proficiency in Office 365 tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with problem solving under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to work under pressure independently with high organizational skills and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks; punctual and attentive, with a willingness to assist where needed

Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • No set lunch break time due to coverage requirements (hour lunch break will vary between 11 am – 2 pm).
Ability to commute/relocate
  • Aldersyde, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
