A recruiting agency is seeking a temporary Receptionist in downtown Toronto, ON to support a medical non-profit agency. The ideal candidate has experience in medical reception, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities. The position offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm. Immediate start is required for the month of December.

Qualifications

Receptionist job opening in Toronto, ON

Adecco Professional is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Receptionist job opening in Toronto, ON for a month+ interim need due to an extended vacation. Our client is a medical non-profit agency and is hoping to get some strong support in to assist their busy, dynamic office to help cover the front desk for this interim coverage. This position is working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm and the site is downtown east, towards the Distillery District.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and redirect calls and voicemail that can come in spurts, at times high volumes
  • Calls may require you to take manual messages, and some directed to applicable departments or voicemail
  • Meet and greet patients as they come in and ensure all protocols are understood
  • Scheduling / rescheduling appointments including follow ups
  • General data entry and light administration
  • Any other administrative, customer service or clerical tasks when required
Qualifications
  • Experience in a busy medical reception or other front desk, receptionist role;
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral along with the confidence and ability to interact with all levels of clients; internal and external
  • Mature, confident and professional; patient and compassionate
  • Ability to control multiple priorities, while also having the ability to take initiative and think on your feet
