Job summary

Oak Valley Health is seeking a dedicated Inventory and Stores Associate to support our Materials Management team in Ontario. You will receive items, verify packing slips, and maintain documentation while stocking and delivering goods across departments using the Plexxus system.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in inventory and replenishment controls; Stores/Receiving experience is a plus. You will perform regular counts, place orders to maintain quotas, and assist hospital staff with

What we are looking for:

• Receive items, verify supplier’s packing slip and complete and maintain receiving documentation
• Process receiving documentation in the computer system
• Stock shelves with receiving and stores items, including EVS supplies
• Deliver received goods to various departments
• Perform regular inventory counts for stores items and replenish when needed
• Order inventory stock supplies to maintain quotas
• Troubleshoot mail room system
• Provide direction and assistance to Community Living Staff members
• Frequent walking, climbing, pushing and pulling of carts and equipment
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. frequently and use a hydraulic pump truck
• Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards
• Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required

What you bring to the role:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience inventory and materials management replenishment controls
• Previous Stores/Receiving experience is an asset
• Demonstrated computer skills to ensure accuracy of inventory management and receiving information entered into the Plexxus module
• Strong customer service skills when dealing with suppliers and hospital staff
• Strong organizational and priority setting skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Attention to detail in receiving, stores, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Physical Demands:

• Frequent walking, climbing, pushing and pulling of carts and equipment
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. frequently and use a hydraulic pump truck

Monday - Friday 630-230

Compensation: CU02 Range: $26.94 - $29.28
