Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, locate, stack, load, and unload merchandise within the plant and onto trucks/trailers in the yard.
• Package products according to customer specifications.
• Verify accuracy and condition of inbound and outbound shipments; report any quality variances.
• Safely unload inbound shipments and store merchandise efficiently in designated areas.
• Manage inventory using SAP ByDesign and assist with physical inventory counts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards; complete all required documentation.
• Prepare shipping documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders.
• Conduct daily visual inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Maintain a safe work environment by using required PPE and following safety protocols.
• Support the Quality Management System by adhering to documented processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Strong forklift operation skills with completion of a certified training program.
• Above-average computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems.
• Effective oral and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Solid understanding of Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS, and TPM standards. Demonstrated leadership qualities including:
