Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Receiver for our brand-new fully automated 660000 square foot distribution centre in Johnstown ON! GTW can offer paid material handling equipment training on brand-new Raymond equipment, full medical / dental benefits, a store discount and 24 / 7 onsite gym access.

Starting wage of $19.95 / hour

Additional $2 / hour for hours worked 9 : 00pm - 6 : 00am;

Automatic milestone wage increases at 1040 hours, 2080 hours, 4160 hours and annually after that

Highlights

• Unloading of goods in a safe and efficient manner using a counterbalance or low lift forklift
• Verify items received for accuracy against purchase orders (ASNs)
• Report quality variances and ensure accuracy in the type and quantity of received product
• Enter product information into computer systems
• Assign active pick locations for new products
• Apply License Plate Numbers (LPNs) verifying physical quantity of merchandise with quantity indicated on the ASN
• Clearly sign all transport documentation and indicate any discrepancies
• Complete non-compliance for vendors who do not follow GTWs shipping standards

Receiver Job Requirements

• Completion of High School
• Class G2 or higher drivers license
• Successful completion of a forklift training program
• Familiar with material handling equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated; ability to work without direct supervision
• Experience with or a basic understanding of personal computer is required
• Voice picking or Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMOS) experience is an asset
• Successful candidates must be in good standing for both performance and health & safety

Receiver Schedule

Sunday - Wednesday 6 : 00 - 4 : 30pm
