Our clientis looking for a talentedConveyancerto join their team of legal professionals in a full-time role. You’ll enjoyone work-from-home day each week, helping you maintain strong work–life balance while contributing to a high-performing legal team. This mid-sized, full-service firm in downtown Edmonton is known for its supportive culture, collaborative environment, and commitment to client service excellence.

Position Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following core duties:

  • Managing between 10-25 files/month
  • Complete basic due diligence registry searches (Corporate Registry, Personal Property Registry, Land Titles, Tax Searches, etc.)
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates on the status of their file
  • Receipt, review and preparation of mortgage instructions
  • Building a positive rapport with staff, lawyers and clients
  • Follow instructions and be able to thrive in a professional team environment

Key Qualifications and Education: In addition to experience with the above, the candidate would have the following background, skills and experience:

  • A paralegal diploma or legal assistant certificate or diploma from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 3 years of residential experience
  • Experience with commercial transactions is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail is required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
  • A positive, self-starter attitude with the ability to take initiative
  • A high level of professionalism while working closely with lawyers, staff and clients
