Job summary

Votorantim Cimentos North America (VCNA) is looking for Ready-Mix Drivers to join CBM Ready-Mix based in Brantford. This permanent full-time role offers an hourly wage between $29.73 and $34.73, with local work that eliminates long-haul or overnight travel.

Responsibilities include conducting pre-trip inspections, delivering concrete, and maintaining professionalism while operating trucks. The ideal candidate will possess a valid DZ or AZ driver's license and be flexible for overtime. A comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits and pension plans, is provided.

Job description

CBM Ready-Mix, a division of Canada Building Materials (CBM) – part of Votorantim Cimentos North America (VCNA) – is seeking Ready-Mix Drivers based in Brantford. This is a permanent full-time position with an hourly rate of $29.73 to $34.73.

CBM Ready-Mix delivers high-quality ready-mix concrete for residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across Ontario and Quebec.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections and other health and safety procedures
• Deliver and unload concrete to customer sites
• Maintain professionalism with customers and contractors
• Operate trucks safely and consistently
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid DZ or AZ driver’s licence plus a minimum of three-year driver abstract
• Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act
• Experience operating manual-transmission trucks
• Flexible scheduling and ability to work overtime hours
