Job summary

A leading construction materials company in Canada is seeking a dependable Mixer Truck Driver to deliver concrete to job sites. You will ensure quality checks, maintain customer relations, and adhere to safety protocols. The ideal candidate has a Class 1 or 3 license, 3+ years of heavy truck driving experience, and good physical condition. Qualifications

  • Class 1 or 3 license with air endorsement required.
  • 3+ years of experience safely driving heavy trucks.
  • Good driving record (Drivers abstract required).
  • Demonstrated communication and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of local and provincial transportation regulations.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for inspections.
  • Ability to lift and assemble concrete chutes weighing 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver concrete to the customer in a timely manner.
  • Work with customers on-site for maximum service.
  • Inspect concrete mix for correctness.
  • Maintain vehicle in a clean and safe fashion.
  • Observe all safety precautions and rules.

Skills

Class 1 or 3 license with air endorsement
Experience safely driving heavy trucks for 3 or more years
Good driving record
Demonstrated communication and problem solving skills
Solid knowledge of local and provincial transportation regulations
Basic mechanical knowledge for minor preventative maintenance
Good physical condition
Availability to work six days a week
Ability to work overtime
