Tactica is a ‘Remote-First’ company and although we enjoy each other’s company, we are working 99% remotely! The 1% are the in-person parties you won’t want to miss. Candidates must be legally allowed to work in, and be located in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop new mobile apps, websites, and web applications that align with our clients’ goals.
2. Assist with application architecture and strategize solutions for technical challenges.
3. Research and implement tools, frameworks, and libraries to enhance development processes.
4. Collaborate closely with designers to craft cutting-edge user interfaces and experiences.
5. Support and maintain existing apps and systems to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications and Skills

1. 5+ years of Front-End development experience with a portfolio demonstrating excellence.
2. Post-secondary education in computer science, software development, or a related field.
3. Strong proficiency with React and React Native, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience – this is a mandatory requirement.
4. Experience designing, developing, and integrating with RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality.
5. Hands-on experience with responsive design techniques for cross-platform usability.
6. Familiarity with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or CMS-based website development.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams and clients.
