YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the US|Canada Procurement Director, you will play a key role in the planning team. As a planner, you will play a key role in the team and will be responsible for :

  • Procuring raw materials and all other components necessary to ensure the smooth running of the company's production operations.
  • Effectively managing inventory levels in the distribution center according to key performance indicators to optimize production and reduce costs.
  • Anticipating supply chain issues and implementing solutions in collaboration with factories and integrated supply chain teams.
  • Ensuring effective communication with suppliers.
  • In addition to your operational responsibilities, you will contribute to process optimization by creating and improving tools to support the team. Preparing and presenting performance reports (KPIs) will also be an integral part of your role.
YOUR PROFILE

Ideally, you hold :

  • A bachelor's degree in logistics, commerce, supply chain, operations management, or a related discipline, or a college diploma with relevant expertise
  • At least 3 years of experience as a raw materials planner
  • APICS certification (an asset)
  • Knowledge and experience with the AS400 system (an asset)
  • Knowledge and experience with reporting and analysis : MS Office, IBP (SAP BO : an asset)
  • Knowledge of inbound logistics, import, and export
  • Excellent computer, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • A Strong motivation for results, the ability to influence, a service orientation, and effective and proactive communication skills.
  • Bilingualism in English and French, both written and oral, is required, as you will be dealing with clients and suppliers in Canada and the United States.
