FedEx in Winnipeg is conducting an interview-position for a ramp operations role. The successful candidate will load and unload FedEx aircrafts and vehicles, scanning and moving freight across the ramp and within the facility.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and be able to complete ramp training including GSE, tug, belt loader, t-stacking and DG. Yearly recurrency training is required for accreditation.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

High school diploma/educational equivalent.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record

Ability to successfully complete all ramp training and certification, such as GSE, tug, belt loader, t-stacking and DG.

Must maintain accreditation through yearly recurrency training prior to expiration.

Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset.

Good problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Good time management and organizational skills

Able to lift 70lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.

This is a PFT position. Tuesday – Friday 00:30am – 9am, Saturday 1am – 9:30am
