Job summary

FedEx Logistics Canada in Mirabel, QC is seeking a team member to load and unload FedEx aircraft and vehicles, scan and move freight to and from the ramp and around the facility. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to complete ramp training and certification, with ongoing accreditation.

Quebec candidates should be bilingual in French and English; the position is on-site with morning shifts and part-time hours.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or educational equivalent is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
  • Ability to successfully complete ramp training and certification (GSE, tug, belt loader, t-stacking, DG).
  • Must maintain accreditation through yearly recurrency training prior to expiration.
  • Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
  • Good problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Able to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • High school diploma/educational equivalent.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record

  • Ability to successfully complete all ramp training and certification, such as GSE, tug, belt loader, t-stacking and DG.

  • Must maintain accreditation through yearly recurrency training prior to expiration.

  • Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset.

Les candidats seront également évalués selon : 1) leur relevé annuel de conduite ; 2) leur performance en entrevue ; et 3) leurs résultats aux évaluations de conduite administrées.
