Job summary

Propair is seeking a ground crew member to marshal and park aircraft, sort and load baggage, and operate ground support equipment. You will perform basic inspections, assist in de-icing, and reconfigure cabins based on operational needs.

We require a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years in a physically demanding outdoor environment. Forklift certification is an asset. Join a team focused on safety and exceptional service in a long-established regional airline.

Responsibilities

  • Marshalling and parking aircraft based on ramp availability and schedules.
  • Sorting baggage upon arrival and loading/unloading baggage and cargo.
  • Operating ground support equipment (forklifts, baggage tractors, tugs).
  • Performing basic inspections of ground support equipment and maintaining documentation.
  • De-icing aircraft as needed and cleaning interiors/exteriors.
  • Reconfiguring aircraft cabins as needed and assisting warehouse operations.

Your role
  • Marshalling and parking aircraft based on ramp availability, departure schedules, baggage transfers, and operational requirements;
  • Sorting baggage upon arrival;
  • Loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and freight in accordance with company procedures;
  • Operating ground support equipment, including forklifts, baggage tractors, and tugs, to transport baggage and cargo;
  • Performing basic mechanical inspections of ground support equipment and completing the required maintenance documentation;
  • De-icing aircraft when weather conditions require;
  • Cleaning the interior and exterior of Propair aircraft;
  • Reconfiguring aircraft cabins according to operational needs;
  • Decontaminating medical aircraft following patient transport in accordance with established protocols;
  • Assisting warehouse operations by preparing cargo for scheduled flights.
Professional qualifications
  • High school diploma (or equivalent);
  • One to two years of experience in a physically demanding outdoor work environment;
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered;
  • Forklift certification is considered an asset.
