Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. is seeking a Project Engineering Director to lead the engineering management practice on major rail and transit infrastructure projects in Canada.

You will drive multi-disciplinary design execution, coordinate with cross-functional teams, clients and regulatory authorities, and shape project strategy from planning through delivery, ensuring safety, quality and value. Qualifications

• 15+ years in transportation projects (rail & transit)
• 5+ years in engineering management
• Experience with LRT/BRT design
• Experience with highly regulated environments (municipal/provincial/federal)
• Registered professional engineer in Canada or eligible across provinces

Responsibilities

• Oversee the engineering lifecycle for large, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion.
• Provide technical guidance and risk management to delivery teams.
• Collaborate with Win Work and Market Lead to align proposals with client requirements and business objectives.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders including clients, architects, vendors and regulators.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance throughout project delivery and communicate progress via monthly reporting.
