Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience in railway systems engineering, specifically with rolling stock components.
  • Familiarity with railway-specific processes like validation and verification activities.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Translate customer and internal train-level requirements into detailed subsystem designs.
  • Write technical purchasing specifications and manage relationships with suppliers.
  • Lead integration of subsystems, managing mechanical and electrical interfaces.
  • Supervise validation of subsystems at supplier and train levels.
  • Drive resolution of technical issues related to subsystems.
  • Prepare and maintain necessary engineering documentation.
  • Ensure safety and reliability requirements are met.
  • Provide technical support throughout the vehicle's lifecycle.
