Job summary

WSP is seeking an Integrated Control & Safety Systems (ICSS) / SCADA Engineer to join the Rail & Transit team in Canada. You will deliver safe, resilient control solutions for critical transportation infrastructure and own parts of the design process.

Reporting to the Lead ICSS & SCADA Engineer, you will develop control narratives, wiring schemes, and BOM/BOQ while ensuring standards compliance and strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related science from an accredited university.
P.Eng. registration or able to obtain within one year of start date.
5 years of experience designing industrial or railway control systems.

Responsibilities

Function as a technical resource in developing control system concepts and standards.
Develop control and monitoring strategies for rail and transit subsystems.
Prepare control system narratives, diagrams and control points tables.
Develop control panel layouts and wiring schemes.
Manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and BOQ for projects.
Produce design reports, drawings and technical specs for ICSS and SCADA.
Perform design reviews, respond to RFIs and provide peer reviews.
Support testing, integration, commissioning and troubleshooting.
