Calgary Animal Referral & Emergency Centre is welcoming a Board-certified Radiologist (permanent, full-time) to join our specialty health care team. We also welcome applicants who are nearing the completion of their residency training and waiting to complete board exams.
The candidate’s responsibilities will include further advancement of the radiology department and teaching and mentoring the interns and support staff. A full complement of on-site diagnostic imaging equipment includes a Canon digital radiography suite, CANON ultrasound unit, OEC 9800 Plus fluoroscopy unit, Toshiba Aquilion 16 Slice CT, and CANON MRI suite.

Calgary Animal Referral & Emergency Centre is a 24-hour emergency and referral specialty hospital, which operates out of a 26,000 square foot facility in Calgary. The hospital is undergoing a complete update and expansion to facilitate the ever-growing caseload and expanding specialty services, including the design of a new, state-of-the-art ICU. Opportunities for professional development abound, including teaching of interns and University of Calgary Veterinary Medicine students, and formal mentorship of interns.
