Fraser Health is hiring a Radiological Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging and related duties in a high-volume outpatient setting. The role requires CAMRT certification and a strong commitment to patient care and continuous quality improvement within Fraser Health's Medical Imaging department.
The salary range for this position is CAD $40.19 - $50.20 / hour

Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre relieves pressures on our healthcare system by consolidating the services that don’t require an overnight stay, into one stand- alone facility. The Centre provides a complete range of scheduled outpatient services, including day surgery, diagnostic services and specialized health clinics. It features over 100 examination rooms and six operating rooms, more than 50 clinics, including the world-renowned Breast Health Clinic, a comprehensive medical imaging floor with two MRIs, including a donor-supported new 3 Tesla MRI and a pain management facility which treats 800 patients a month.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Radiological Technology and the Site Coordinator, Medical Imaging, the Radiological Technologist, practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice as well as utilizing a client and family centered care model and the vision and values of the department within Fraser Health (FH).
The Radiological Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic/fluoroscopic and medical imaging procedures/techniques and related duties, observing safe radiation protection practices. Duties include receiving and completing requisitions, entering relevant data into the Radiology Information System (RIS), preparing patients for examination, operating radiographic and computerized imaging equipment including processing radiographs and archiving of acquired data, monitoring patient during procedures, monitoring equipment performance and maintaining cleanliness of examination rooms.
Certification with the CAMRT.
