Job summary

Fraser Health is hiring a Radiological Technologist for Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging while maintaining patient safety and high-quality image data.

You will operate radiographic equipment, document patient information in RIS, and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses. Training opportunities and career advancement are available within Fraser Health.

Qualifications

• CAMRT certification is required.
• Ability to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with standards and protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment and process radiographs; ensure data is correctly entered into RIS.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide clear instructions; monitor patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain records, assist with quality control and routine departmental tasks.
• Support training and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
