Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, the Radiological Technologist is responsible for the delivery of patient-centered care while operating radiological/accessory equipment with minimal supervision and independent judgment. The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation, applying the ALARA principle, while remaining responsive to and responsible for each patient in their care. The Radiological Technologist communicates effectively in a multidisciplinary environment and fosters a culture of safety in the workplace.
