A healthcare provider in Nova Scotia is seeking a Radiological Technologist to deliver patient-centered care and operate radiological equipment. The position requires certification and licensure in medical radiation. Candidates will engage in a multidisciplinary environment and foster patient safety. Competitive compensation between $34.78 and $43.40 hourly, along with eligibility for benefits package.

Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, the Radiological Technologist is responsible for delivering patient-centered care while operating radiological/accessory equipment with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures requiring ionizing radiation, applies the ALARA principle, and remains responsive to and responsible for each patient in their care. The Radiological Technologist is responsible for effective communication in a multidisciplinary environment and fosters a culture of safety in the workplace.
