An established health authority in Nanaimo is seeking a qualified Radiological Technologist to produce diagnostic radiographs and carry out procedures alongside physicians. Candidates must hold CAMRT certification and have graduated from an approved radiology technology program. This role emphasizes patient safety and teamwork, making strong communication skills essential. A commitment to quality improvement is necessary.

The Radiological Technologist works in a computerized environment, producing diagnostic radiographs as assigned and carrying out diagnostic procedures either independently or in collaboration with a radiologist or other physician; applies radiation safety principles and practices to protect patients, staff, and the general public; and completes required documentation and administrative tasks.
Education, Training And Experience
Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist. Graduation from an approved radiology technology program. Eligible for membership in the CAMRT.
